Why This Site Exists

Printed San Antonio and Bexar County directories survive in library and archive collections, while current public information is split among Bexar Appraisal District, the County Clerk, Elections, courts, the City Clerk, and Texas agencies. The records have different dates, search controls, and privacy rules. We collect the official access routes, office details, and collection limits in one Bexar County reference so a search can start with the correct record rather than an unsupported assumption.
